Ruby Jelicich
Administration Manager
Ruby is NZEDC’s clinic manager. She will likely be the first person you talk to when you reach out, and you will often see her sitting at the desk in the waiting room of our Auckland clinic.
Outside of her work at NZEDC, Ruby is a fifth-year psychology student at the University of Auckland. She completed her undergraduate degree majoring in Psychology and Gender Studies and finished her first year of postgraduate study with first-division honours in Psychology. She is currently undertaking her second year of postgraduate study, completing her master’s thesis. Ruby hopes to continue her study after this to become a registered psychologist.
Through her own lived experience and academic background, Ruby has a unique understanding of eating disorders and their impacts. She is driven to one day provide others with the valuable support she received when she was younger.
Ruby understands that reaching out for support takes courage and can be challenging, so she strives to ensure that this process is smooth and that you feel listened to and welcomed at NZEDC.
